Self lubricating JESW Oilless Wear Plate
What is a JESW Oilless Wear Plate?
A JESW Oilless Wear Plate is a premium, copper-based, solid-lubricant-embedded sliding plate. It is engineered by casting a high-strength brass matrix and meticulously embedding solid lubricants—typically graphite or molybdenum disulfide (MoS₂)—into specific geometric patterns on the friction surface.
Unlike standard bronze bushings or bearings that rely on a continuous hydrodynamic oil film, the JESW wear plate breaks the boundaries of traditional lubrication. It is specifically designed for environments where adding oil is difficult, where oil films cannot be maintained due to heavy loads or slow speeds, or where oil contamination is strictly prohibited.
- Base Material (Matrix): High-strength brass alloys, specifically ZCuZn25Al6 or CuZn25Al6Fe3Mn3. These alloys provide immense structural integrity, high load-bearing capacity, and excellent resistance to impact and fatigue.
- Solid Lubricant: High-purity Graphite or Molybdenum Disulfide (MoS₂). These materials are chemically stable, thermally resistant, and possess naturally low shear strength, making them ideal dry lubricants.
