For the first installation period, a small amount of grease can help establish the graphite transfer film sooner on the shaft surface.

Critical reminder for the mill zone

For heavy-load areas (ike mill adjustment sliders), specify a high-strength brass base(CuZn25Al5…)-itcan handle the peak compressive loads. For boiler-side parts, the graphite grade must be rated fortemperature; otherwise plugs can oxidize and wear accelerates.
